GDC Held the China Animation Summit Forum: Explore of development of Animation in China

      On May 15, 2011, GDC held the China Animation Summit Forum and the speakers included: Mr. Chen Zheng (CEO of GDC), Mr. Jin Guoping (Executive Vice President of GDC and Chairman of IDMT SZ), Mr. Wang Ying( CCTV Senior Kids & Teens program producer & General Manager of CCTV Animation Limited), Ms. Gong Jianying (Vice president & General Secretary of China Animation Association), Mr. Zhong Luming (Senior journalist, Publisher of “China Animation Weekly”), Mr. Choi Chung Leung (Founder of Hong Kong Famous Cartoon Character “Mcdull) and Mr. Lok Wing Keung (Hong Kong Senior director, Script & lyrics Writer, the founder of the famous Chinese cartoon character “Xi Yang Yang & Hui Tai Lang).  The speakers expressed their views and shared their experiences around the theme of  “From a productive to a significant animation industry, how does China reach the goal?” , discussed about the integration and development issues of the animation and related industries in China, and interacted with the audiences.
